What's going on in the workshop!

A type 25 in for repairs. A beetle after being rescued.

Some type 2 vans in for repairs. A type 25 diesel in for repairs. A vw 181 trekker is rescued and in for repairs.

An ex RTE type2 comes in for repairs. This van is historic in its own way as it was one of many vans belonging to RTE.The fact that in the 1960s 70s and 80s Many companys in Ireland used these vehicles is a true testament of how reliable they really were. This van has being coming to us since the early eighties and myself and Dave worked on this van when and before Emilios Beetles was formed in the eighties.During its time it has had many owners. This vans present owner calls this lady Julia and i think that he will never part with it.He does some of his own repairs and we do a few also for him. His main objective as time goes on is to resore Julia to its former glory some day.

Another historic vehicle comes in. This is one of two Irish registered 181 s ever brought into Ireland in right hand drive. These were brought in as test vehicles for our own irish army. They decided they didnt like them and these two were sold to the public. This one has had the same owner since new and is defenitly very special. It will be never sold as it is a member of the family for ever.We hope to restore this vehicle soon. We think that the army made abig mistake not enlisting a member of the vw family.

Some beetles in for repairs. A Herbie beetle comes in for mechanical repairs. This is not our own Herbie but he is a relative!
